How do I make quiet follow me?

At the start of the mission she just choose a random enemy base even if its isnt the main objective.

Also sometimes I just talk to her on the radio and nothing happens since she is kilometers away.

iDroid, right most tab, buddy options, quiet scout/quiet attack, pick a point on the map.

I dont have this option

Go into menus and choose "Buddy support", from there you can send Quiet to scout other outposts. Idk if there's another way to do this

If she's already you're buddy, no.

She takes some minor micromanagement compared to the other buddies, although the game doesn't tell you this.

Just be careful cus if your spotted she won't hesitate to put a bullet into their skulls. Which I found out the hard way trying to do the side missions "Extract the skilled soldier" though dunno what was so skilled about him when his buddy was an A+ and he was a C at best with no ability.

When you're rep with her is higher I think you can basically tell her to not shoot.

Right now she's more of an aggressive player's buddy until you get the tranq rifle.

On the map press W until it says Quiet (scout) then while still in the map go to a base of your choice and press spacebar. You can do the same for getting the helicopter to pick you up or to remove all currently placed markers at once.
