It's REALLY bad design, especially considering in other platforms you either walked a path or stood still and could complete the 'target practice'.
R&D is really a scavenger hunt
Yeah I know you dont have to do it, nor finish it at first try.
But I want to complete every mission even if I dont get a highscore.
Now I need to relax before I try again.
It is frustrating, there's no question about that, but I think it is the closest is terms placement for actual guards/sentries.
As for clearing it, what TRR 11 YEARS-Palpurntin said about looking it up on YouTube is the way I kept my sanity. You can try to figure it out yourself, but unlike all the others, the optimal path seems to be both conventional (walkways) and unconventional (walking on exposed airducts).
For a hint though, the "shadows" of them remain after the timer ends and you fail. So you can search for them after if you are against a video.
2nd tip- watch how it's done from Youtube, that's how i did it after failing it 7 times :D
Yeah I kinda agree with you, but to be honest I would rather the dummies where soldiers, since I would probably get that "notice" warning when I was close to them. With the dummies they just stand there laughting at me.
But I will complete it, havent tried the other Target Practice missions on the other platforms.
I will try it a few more times, if I cant do it I will look on youtube........
You can follow the route..
