Updating map when Interogating Enemy?

When I interogate an enemy and they provide some information, it says that the map has been updated. But when I check the map, I dont know what I'm looking for exactly? For example, the enemy tells me the position of a highly skilled soldier, but on the map, I can't find him. Any help?

If they tell you where resources are at, there will be a white check mark placed on the map to show the location. Skilled soldiers will be marked with a red triangle (same as you marked them) and have a small yellow dot blinking on the triangle.

Any way to distinguish the ones already marked as oppose to the ones the enemies told me about?
