sickbay

can injured staff die if you move them out of sick bay? One of my staff died suddenly and I have no idea why, but I moved some staff out of sick bay because I didn't really understand how it worked at the time

I wouldnt worry about that, your'e gonna lose a ton of staff at one point so id get use to it haha.

No I meant, do they die of injuries if they aren't in sickbay...

i can answer that question, yes it can happen. it happened to me recently with Malak when i forgot to put him into the Sickbay and he died of his fatal wounds. thankfully, i exited the game without autosaving kicking in and then i reloaded the game and managed to put Malak into Sickbay before he died again.

why doesn't the game have an automatic Sickbay option for injured/sick people?

Is there a way to get Malak back? I found him KIA at MB. http://i.imgur.com/Elljlff.jpg Replaying mission 10 will make him back? Anesthesia Specialist :( I had no Medical team when I got him. I did mission 10 for Fulton, passed 3 missions, 7 8 9...

i guess you can try to get him back from that mission again. i've never been in a situation where i had to get a guy again after he was KIA so i don't know if this will work in your favor or not. good luck.

My Malak died too, but I got another by replaying the mission. I think you can get him as long as he isn't already in your staff.

I don't 100% know if it matters or not, but try to make sure he doesn't get shot by anyone when you're getting on the helicopter to extract him, Miller mentions he's already wounded, idk, maybe he dies at Mother Base if you get him even more injured while rescuing him.
