Stuck on black screen after departing from mother base

Hi.

I've been playing the game for about 30 hours now, and I'm on main story mission 15 or so. I just visited the zoo platform, and now after calling helicopter, entering it, and flying away, the game is just stuck on a black screen.

Has this happened to anyone else, or does anyone know how to fix it? Would be much appreciated.

Just got the same problem trying to leave the zoo. Whether I try to go back to the main base or the ACC the game just fades out and then refuses to get past the loading screen.

I worked around it by jumping off the platform and picking "go to acc"

Thanks, that just worked for me too. Hope this issue doesn't come up again, I'd hate it if I had to avoid Mother Base from now on. :/

In settings I went from Full Screen to Borderless Window and that worked for me

Jumping off the landing pad at mother base worked for me. Still doesn'e make sendse, but it worked. Hope it helps.

another thread here in steam says the same solution by jumping off on the chopper. i smashed every key on my keyboard but i couldn't jumped off the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ CHOPPER !!! what's the key for it??? as i had already literally destroyed my keyboard. please help !!!!

Literally shown on screen every time you hop onto a helicopter or fly into the mission zone: YOu hit E while hovering over the platform.
