The only question is things like bumping them off the platform, but without initiating an attack.
Basically if you knock out someone, then place them at a odd angle on a thin platform, kick them or something to wake them up, and have them fall to their deaths on their own.
If you still get a game over screen if one of them dies, then it's scripted to restart you at a checkpoint (since you lose that staff member for real)...
If you kill your staff members 3 times in a row though, do the game asks if you want to don a chicken hat?
I completely forgot the decoy item when used, can knock all targets back on impact, like a spring balloon, and can stun them or throw them in a general direction.
I got a neat idea with that in mind, if you can throw it next to a enemy soldier, then launch them so it knocks down a nearby enemy soldier, then you can walk up and hold your gun at them to hold both of them up.
This is because holding one enemy up causes a nearby soldier to notice and induces reflex mode as they start aggroing instantly.
