Quiet's humming is REALLY annoying.

It was interesting while fighting her, but after after hearing the same damn bars over and over in a mission, it gets really old really fast. Is there any way to get her to shut up?

I agree, her humming is driving my autism senses insane. If you are normal functioning human beings and get annoyed by it, imagine one like me who has trouble filtering noises xD

I have her humming stuck in my brain even after I finally dismissed her. Need a mod to remove that humming to be able to play with her as my buddy.

Love tthe character, but as was said, THAT HUMMING. Absolutely insane and really annoying in general. She will scout out a target if I bino-scan them sooooo constantly, CONSTANTLY does it.

There's no real way to keep her quiet (oddly enough...), but you can open the command bar and pick "Quiet" and Snake will kind of bark at her like, "QUIET!" and she'll stop humming for a while. Personally, I got used to it to the point where I didn't even notice it anymore. Plus, I didn't use her as a buddy all that often. She's too OP if you use her even somewhat "correctly," and while it's nice to have her scout a base or just engage an entire installation, she's nowhere near as thorough as my D-Wolf bro (and he finds plants and animals for me!) or even D-Waltzer with the scan head option.
I do kind of like the humming, to a point. And while I'm not positive, I believe her humming steadies your own aim, almost as well as Pentazemin (just as it does if you listen to the "utility tape" of her humming).

Yes it is annonying like fuxx. No Joke. Use the Mute Key and then let her traquilize all enemys. Quiet.

I also hate it, also the "radio noise" added is awful, if it was just the "pure" humming it would be less annoying (like the casette tape or when you fight her), at least I would like to swap for this clean audio.

I will admit that i found her annoying when humming. It was very distracting and just relentless. But then i found a audio file of her near the player with a target. This is just her without the radio sound. Its clearer and nicer but still people may find it just as annoying. I to didnt pick her for this reason, untill i downloaded this auido file, 12 seconds of her humming her ''target '' hum. I was absoutly SHOCKED and amazed that once i played this for like 1h straight, then went to bed and woke up the next day and quiet hummed, i felt this overhelming sence of relaxation and granted me the ability in real life to have this ''let it all go'' effect. I honestly dont play much MGS 5 anymore because i have a small SSD and can only pick 1 big game at a time, but in times of high stress i can play this 12 sec clip of her humming for an hour and my blood pressure accually lowers and become relaxed. It also works in RL for me to, i just play it in super stressfull times and i can just cut my stress factor by ALOT.

Idk id this is a phychological trick or some freak of nature but this hummingh is effecting me in a positive way and i just cant understand why it has this effect on me. Its blissfull to me and i can accually feel my gut drop and a relax feeling wash over me when its played.

So in sort it used to bother me horribly but then it became something way more then intended for me and its positive (for me).
