What was the point of the character creator?
I still have no idea what it was for. I remember thinking that I wanted to play as snake and thankfully nothing ever happened with the character I created...

I'm guessing Metal Gear Online.I just got in chapter 2 of the game (main mission 30+) and still have yet to see what it was for.

Probably. What screenshots we've seen makes it look like character customization is very deep.

Shame we couldn't get the same level of gear customization in this game, in terms of suits and camo.
