Can someone tell me how to get S rank soldiers please?

Also another question if you have a high Heroism does that help you get S rank soldiers or no.

I got some for completing a certain story mission. Outside of that and the inique characters (Ocelot for example) I have yet to see S ranked soldiers outside of my combat unit.

Yeah I already know those. I get lots of A+ and A+++ but I'm not getting any S Ranks. I did get one from a Side-Op.

Perhaps the S ranks are reserved for the special staff and combat units (who seem to be the only ones to level up)?

I'm now sure if going back to MB and increasing morale levels your troops at all, that could be a possible way to get S ranks.

Yeah I'm not going to run around my base dude. I have all the platforms and after 5 real hours it resets.

I've finished the game. Now I'm just getting Soldiers for the FOB system.

Then I have no idea I'm afraid I have no idea then. I mean, you'd think we'd be able to find S ranked staff somewhere, I imagine we need lots of them to max out MB.

There are 50 Levels for each type of staff. I think that's a little weak since in peace walker there were 100 levels for each type.

Like one in Peace Walker.. S-rank was very hard to come by. I too expect same in TPP.
Plus there is skill that fake actual stats so you never know until you grab him to check out later.

The 4 S+ they give you at the end of mission 31 are the only 4 I've ever gotten beside's Kojima who's also a S. I've never seen a S++ or a S of any quality in the field.

Also all 4 of my S+ recruits are female, so my best soldier, medic, supplier and r&d are run by them. lol

Also intresting is S ranked soldiers don't get sent on missions, only A+ and under.
