R&D Target Practice

I simply can't find some of the targets in the target practice on the R&D platform. Does anyone have any tips on how to complete this one? What to look out for, which route to take?

Wait till night time and equip your night goggles.

I also had some trouble finding those targets on that platform, but when I tried it again with night goggles on, it was significantly easier to spot them.

Had no clue you can see them easier with NVGs, thanks! I'll try it next time.

Thanks for that tip Jii!, R&D platform is seriously annoying

also, don't wanna start a new thread since this can be used, are those Target practice missions suppose to be renewing?, they don't stay completed like other missions, and if i do them all, then leave MB, come back, they're all avaliable again to be done, with the same money reward

They are redoable.

NVG helps to see the targets, if you can find them in the first place. The other practice missions were easy. Get lost on this one as there is no clear path to follow. At least not one I can find. 20/35 on my last run.

Jesus people are actually doing those rubbish missions?

Can I upload my savegame so someone does those instead of me and reupload it back?
I did two of those and the first one was annoying enough for me to continue doing them. 30K reward for each? To hell with it.

It makes it easier to think of Mother Base as a minigame where you strangle your guards and force them to tell you where rough diamonds are, then you practice being tactical.
More of an early-game thing than a late-game thing.

It's honestly a cool way to raise people's morale, it also earns you some good GMP if you're out.

I honestly like to spend a while on Mother Base just completing those, improving my aim, earning that little GMP, and listening to my custom 80's soundtrack on the way. In that way Mother Base does feel a bit like home. :)

If anythng in this game is superboring or superannoying it's that platforming junk.

And I'm filthy rich in the game, I don't need that pocketchange Konami put there. ;)

Using a stun smg is way better than tranq pistol considering it has 1 shot each time
