Battle Gear can only be dispatched on Field Ops for your soldiers. I was kinda pissed off when I learned you are not capable of using it in the field.

Battle Gear was in the game as a deployable vehicle, but they cut it after it apparently imbalanced gameplay.

Kind of sucks it isn't in as one of those (restricts S) and/ just costs a lot of money. With the whole seeing it be built thing it was clear they cut it out last minute.

Are you serious? Wow, it seems like every day I get more dissapointed at what (seemingly) they cut or exclude from the final game. First the real ending and now this.

Yeah I got thesame issue. I really like this game, but the more I get into it, the more I am dissapointed. Quiet with her annoying humming all the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ time. Battle Gear not obtainable. Nearly no armored vehicles patrolling (only on missions) same goes for Bi-pedal bots, you nearly never encounter them. Outposts stay thesame, no extra troops whatsoever. The FOB is ruining the game big-time for me, since I don't want that piece of ♥♥♥♥ FOB nonsense, Skull enounters should be alot more common at some point due to harvesting parasites, nearly no interactivity with Motherbase, you can walk around a little and that's about it (No command room, armory and so on)

We should be able to use the Battle Gear REX(I think), but instead we get the tiny D-Walker, I mean I like the D-Walker but that Hover-Gear is badass.

But instead they decided lets give it to the Staff to use in their combat deployment missions instead.

Something so awesome shipped and only allowed to be used by Staff members. Come on.............

I agree with you sem, but I would really reccomend looking at the reddit page, people have already made qar tool mods which boost the amount of people walking on mother base, along with many other tweaks, Im hopeing that someone can replace d walker with something bigger.

Is the one thing I look forward to about the PC is potential mods people may make. Wouldn't argue with one that made the guards harder and more realistic, as it stands I feel like I can run through with minimal issue...granted only on missions 19. As for the gear, I know that is how they did it for Peace Walker, short of fighting it yourself. Which kinda makes its all the worse to hear really.

So far i'm on the first S-rank mission and I've had big issues getting my team to RNG pass it.

Battle Gear is a big dissapointment, Literally doesn't appear in game other than in the R&D lab.. EVEN Metal Gear in peace walker had an actual fight :/

Even with a Battle Gear my percentage chance is a mere 50% with 20% loss.

Well its more than just a "source" ingame it clearly says you can customize ♥♥♥♥ and youve unlocked it but thats just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ i was hoping for a great time with that thing since ive sawn the beast with the electronic and everything, so IT HAD TO BE IN

I think the strategy guide? I haven't gone looking through mine though.

Also, I was also kinda disappointed no armored vehicles in the field.. but according to the guide, if you attack bases with tanks/armored vehicles/maybe D-Walker enough they start bringing out missile launchers and tanks. Or if you assault them a lot, they have more soldiers, etc. Really cool system. Haven't used D-walker a single time, or any armored vehicles in free roam, so I haven't seen this.. but I'm tempted to, just to see some armor rolling around.
