METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

Any reason to not use the stealth suit?
Peace Walker had this suit, with it's drawback being it holds 4 less items, something I never figured was big enough to not use it 100% of the time with it's incredibly high camo index and lack of footsteps. I notice that in V, you can still hold the same amount of weapons and it also gives damage protection. Any reason to not always use it?

Well, it's rather expensive to bring into battle, so if you're not flooded with GMP it could drain you of cash without proper management.

This
Most of the time I use the cheapest outfit so I can carry more exspensive equipment with me into a mission

im guessing most uniforms is just asthetic apart from sneaking and battledress but i have to play more to determine whether theres any sort of camo index in the background, it is strange sometimes how enemies hear my footprints when wearing camo even when im moving slow as possible

Except if you're wearing the sneaking suit during the day the enemy will spot you from a mile away o.o

while as if you're wearing the right camo outfit you can almost crawl right up to them without them noticing you during the day if you take it slow =P health regen and silent footsteps are overated XD dunno why they're hearing you though o.o;; the only times enemies have noticed me behind them is when i acidently walk too fast or i walk TOO close (almost rubbing my face into their back) <.<;; gotta find the sweet spot XD

There is a background camo index going on. Its highly present in the day, but in the night Enemies FOV are lower than usual so it doesn't feel that way. The sneaking suit isnt really useful in the daytime and whatnot. But its really good if you have a lot of cover to cover because you can crouch run to people and they don't really hear you.

Edit: Beaten and played like a damn fiddle ;-;

I myself had some bad experiencies with the Stealth camo. I like to do my missions on the ASAP time option, so I don't always get deployed during night time, and I felt that during daytime, guards spot you tremendously easily with the Sneaking suit. I haven't gotten out of Afghan but so far the Desert camo has worked wonders for me, even if approaching enemies can be more challenging at times, I do like the added challenge though, back in PW it was pretty unplayable because the game had such furstrating controls on PSP and guards had the weirdest eyesight.

But it costs GMP to *wear* it? Or to buy it?

Are you playing a pre-alpha version of the game? Sneaking suit o.o is good =P for any XD terrain, and o.o;; if you use <.<;; it correctly, you can literally SPRINT up to XD people. K?
I like your accentuation emoticons, btw lelXDO_O;;

edit: play ground zeroes, import save file from GZ. Sneaking Suit = 400 GMP Usage Requirement. Cheap as dirt.

From personal expirence in Africa, the sneaking suit does not blend in at all during the day, I keep getting seen across feild with it on, while I can run freely with woodland cammo on.

There's a cost to deploying. It depends on your equipment, so the higher skill your equipment is, the more expensive it will be to deploy.

I dunno about you guys, but the sneaking suit has never failed me before. I don't have to do the clunky push-slightly-on-the-analog-stick mechanic anymore, and it provides sufficient camo. And every time I deploy, it costs just 20000 GMP. I had like 3 million before I blew it all on guns for the customization system.

Anyway, the battle dress helped me complete the game, looking damn good while doing it.

The sneaking suit doesn't blend in well with any terrain. There's a camo index in TPP, just like in MGS3 except this time it's invisible.
