Is there COOP?

Ive looked around some say yes others no. If not thatd be unfortunate as this would be a perfect game to play with some buddies. :/

No, there won't be co-op. There's PvP invasions, and there will be a standard multiplayer shooter component, but nothing cooperative.

I doubt they will. Metal Gear has always been a single player title. If they are gonna do COOP it will be some type of online mode against other players.

No coop planned. The only "coop" you'll get will be in Metal Gear Online, with Team based objectives modes, in January.

They don't join you. They can fight in your place. You never see another player besides the one you're fighting against in an FOB.

Incorrect, the game Peace Walker this is game is using 90% of it's systems from, did indeed have Co-op. In fact it was the best part about it, I played well over 200 hours of that game because of it.

There will be no Co-op added down the line, they have said "no" to there being Co-op in the sense of actual Co-op. So we will have to hope modders can get it into the game somehow, cause god do I want it. Long live the great Peace Walker.

I meant the main series of games. Not PSP titles. But OK.
