How do I use the "stun" mechanism of the bionic arm ?

I've already upgraded it to the required development stage, just don't know what to press on my Keyboard to use it. I know how to use the knock and bio-sonar thing tho.

If you have it selected and attack or sprint attack does anything happen? I actually just got it and haven't tried using it yet.

hold the aim button, then hold the attack button untill your hand is fully charged (bar in the bottom left or right)

that doesn't sound terribly useful.. maybe I just need to try it in-game.

Does the bottom white bar have to be full before i start the channel?

Max level stun arm will stun half a base through walls. Takes a long time to charge though.

It's a bit overpowered. In the smaller outposts you can stun everyone there with a single charge attack. I think it goes out to 45 meters or something like that and stuns everybody, even through walls.
