You simply walk in, and everything's highlighted. Including prisoners. You call that useless LOL
Quiet basically acts as a second chance. When you get spotted, Quiet can take that enemy's helmet out, or straight up tranq him/her. Or even act as a cover fire mechanic when you're going loud, literally someone watching your back. Far from useless.
I haven't yet tried D-Walker, even though I've almost finished develop all that there is.
Currently focusing on maxing out relation with the first three.
D-Horse is literally just for easier transport through harsh terrain. Once you get your hands on vechile, D-Horse starts to lose its usefulness.
I don't think I'll ever switch off of D-Dog. He sees everything I can't and lets me sneak fast and loose in areas with lots of things to block my line of sight to enemies. Cramped areas where I would sometimes get surprised by a guy I missed tagging before I moved in.. no longer an issue with D-Dog. Also.. adorable.
I always use D-Walker for travel ( much more efficent than horse) and I switch to D-dog once i reach base. I could juz walk into the base and D-dog will sniff out everyone, even all those in buildings etc. I am super reliant on d-dog since after 50 missions, im lazy to bino. d-dog does it better anyways
D-walker owns horse and vehicles. Super fast, better manuveur than horse & vehicles. Super fast switch between skating/running means you can easily detour around bases if you dont want to engage.
to think someone would think horse is the best....
I can't wait to get D-Walker, loved him ever since he was first revealed. 20 hours in so far and no sign of him yet though
you will love d-walker. I freaking hate those vehicles. It is so hard to travel with them without alerting outposts and bases & lose heroism & no alert bonus etc. You also have to run back to your vehicle once you clear outposts etc. D-walker is a game changer, you can just call it to you + it has a tranquilzer.
@Jimmy When I used DD, when enemies saw him, they thought he was "just a dog" (cough john wick cough) and told him to f*ck off. Then again, he had no armor on him.
hhaha yeah the first time I took him out I was sneaking into a lil fort area by crawling under the wall.. and to my horror I saw DDs icon just run right into the main courtyard of the base and he almost knocked a marked soldier right over, but none of them really seemed too upset about a dog running around their base.
I was gonna be so pissed if he was just a mess of failing stealth for you with dumb pathing AI.
I agree with you, because I can call in D horse at any time with no cost. Fultoning and dispatching vehicles cost a lot. You cannot actually shoot inside a vehicle, which is entirely ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Taking out enemies means that you have to leave your vehicle. Whenever you have to travel again, you would have to run backward a couple hundred meters. That is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ insane.
I am really pissed that game allows for only one buddy at a time.
Additionally, D horse enables you to launch rockets at armored cars while speeding and turning, and storm outposts killing everyone in the reflex mode. So yeah D horse is very very good.
