how to get the legendary bear?

I spam all my tranq with a couple of headshots on it but its still chasing me...

Stun grenades are your friend. He just has a ton of endurance the stun grenades help a lot

I got the same problem because I still had the basic WU pistol, I ended up just CQC'ing him which was actually super fast, three comboes and he was done.

I used the RENOV-ICKX TP tranq rifle from a long range and he went down in 4-5 shots

For me, got to high ground, spammed all my Tranq pistol ammo and a ton of non lethal shotgun rounds. I think he went down after 40 combined shots.

Get the riot uzi and unload every magazine in it's face. The riot uzi is incredibly useful because it is essentially a fully automatic tranq pistol ( single head shot on human = instant stun ) with ten times more ammo, higher range and less bullet drop.

i used the starter pistol and took a bear down in about 14 shots. used my horse to keep my out of range of the bear. once i ran out of ammo and was about to cqc it it collapsed saving me the trouble.

is there a difference between legendary bear and regular bear cuz i just came across a bear and it went down with 2 tranqs to the head...pretty easy
