Quiet's End game question

So I spoiled my self to the knowledge that Quiet gets infected by the end game and leaves DD to die.
I suspect this is mission 43 as I had read some early none spoilers that she leaves. But the very same source claimed that after story is over you can find her post game for some closure.
Anyone knows if it's possible to get her be a buddy end game again? Or is she fully lost?
Anyone completed the main story yet?
Kinda sucks to loose her post game. Especialy after spending all that money on her,finding upgrades with her. Though it's greatly affected by us bonding on missions together

this is not a dlc anymore ..
this is an expansion.
And dont think Konami will put so much money on an expansion that 2500 people will buy ...
this will need at least 500k to happen.
as for my opinion, konami is a useless ♥♥♥♥♥♥ company but they arent dumb to make an expansion about quiet alone ....
Because 90% of the people dont give a damn about her.
this expansion will never be released and you boys should go jerk on something else than quiet.

And you should think about those 0.99% that actually jerk off when she's with them on ACC

lolwut? Why you so mad, brah? If this bothers you so much, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ignore it ffs. It's not like there's THOUSANDS of threads regarding whining and ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about FOBs and "cheaters"... I'd take this over those whiner posts.

Anyway there's already news about how there's no future story DLCs "yet". So I think this means that Konami isn't focusing in releasing any story dlcs for phantom pain anytime soon, especially when MGSOnline is around the corner. If they DO release it, I think it'll be too late when everyone got over this game.

you will never get her back, its ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ brutal that you wont, but its the most mind blowing emotional thing i've ever experienced in a game. and i think it's worth making her finish her story, giving you the canon ending. revel in the fact that games can still make such a huge controversial decision and that you cant do ♥♥♥♥ about it. if they patch her in again, AFTER watching that ending, i will be seriously disappointed..

A character and couple missions are not expansion. It's still a DLC. Expansions are when you add a lot of new stuff and usually a new area. Like what Diablo,Witcher 3 and Guild wars 2 are doing.

For things that are ingame and later remove from it, mods of course, after paying for an incomplete game and not very cheap, if they have the cheek to release dlcs to add something that was there previously with the excuse that it adds a couple of missions more that would be a shame.

Chapter 3 was the one that was removed. Whether Quiet comming back mission or something else was removed we have no idea. As it is right now, it was a bad game decision to have her be unplayable from story point.
Also,wellcome to the new age. Half the games do that.

Thousands others may disagree on that. But I understand your point. However most people are just semi pissed at the fact that you can't use her post game, when you can replay missions that kinda break all the timeline and stuff itself. They could had taken us D-Dog away or D-Horse or whatever else for that matter. Heck Huey leaves MB and that was supposed to be as emotional as losing Quiet after she leaves. :/

I just rolled eyes at the stupidity that was mission 45 (easy but stupid) and went on. I've kept her around long enough using the emblem so her Sniper Wolf outfit got old and then happily killed her off since she was useless as a buddy anyway. It coud've been different if she could shoot your enemies in their faces and not in their ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ helmets.

I don't know how people really feel about the latest news on Konami not announcing any story DLC http://www.tomshardware.com/news/no-story-dlc-for-mgsv,30157.html. Some say they shot themselves in the foot with this one, others think it's being misinterpreted as in no DLCs "yet".

If it's true that they indeed won't be releasing anything else other than the skin DLC, we can say good bye to potential Quiet DLC and Mission 51 as well. :/

I wonder how MGS5 would had been if Kojima and Konami never had this dispute.

Why Quiet is on a 100% save at TGS demo? I'm sure we will at least get Quiet patch or DLC
