That side op where you can find her again immediately triggers a hidden story mission. And that story mission sums up Quiet's story. Unfortunately at the end of the mission you don't get her back either.
There is, however, a way to delay Quiet's departure by having the butterfly icon on your emblem. If you keep this on before the mission where she leaves initially, you essentially lock out the rest of the story (including Quiet's departure). But obviously this means you are basically frozen in time in terms of the story, and cannot proceed until you remove the butterfly from your emblem.
Truly hope they will patch Quiet back in the game for post ending use since she is such an important part of the gameplay, even though canonically she is gone by then.
Doubt it will happen with Kojima gone and Konami dumbasses behind the wheel now.
They need to patch it. Pehaps we will get lucky thought. Hope as they say dies last, when u finish her off with a shovel.
I guess I will need to delay mission 43 till I get bored of game or complete the main game and start from scratch and play till mission 42.
I'm willing to not have 100%,I'm not completionist.
And seeing as I'm renting the game till Fallout4 comes out. I'm willing to ignore her side story and simply remove the butterfly few days before Fallout 4 comes and finish her story and this game. If they don't patch Quiet in or Mods don't fix this. I don't plan on buying pc version then.
Heres a picture of the part of the strategy guide that talks about keeping her. As I said, its vague when it comes to "locking the story", specifically whether or not you can proceed in the other areas of the story without losing Quiet.
Sucks too, I just worked so hard to unlock the FOX emblem for use, but I'd do anything to keep Quiet, at least until if/when a patch comes out and enables her as a buddy (non-canonically) after the storyline.
looks like i didn't remember correctly
Am I correct in understanding that if your bond is bellow 100% she won't leave?
but huey will leave so that's a positive thing because he's a ♥♥♥♥
