METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN

HELP! Runtime Error Visual C++ -pure virtual function call
After closing the game I am getting the following error.

Runtime error!

Program: A:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP\mgsvtpp.exe

R6025
-pure virtual function call

I am not sure if it causes trouble in game, but it's really bothersome. Everything should be properly installed, all the Microsoft Visual C++ installations and whatnot. Anyone know how to fix this?

Same here. I've tried many fixes including uninstalling/reinstalling graphics drivers. Microsofrt says it's a "coding issue", which I doubt because the game works fine for other players plus that would also imply that I'm being given a faulty version of the game by Steam.

This is the error - http://i.imgur.com/RYwBLKi.png
Right now I would say this is the biggest bug in the game at the moment where lots of people have not been able to play because of it. i5 and i7 are affected. I don't know why they provided a patch for the garbage pc instead of fixing this.

All games are installed in the default location for me. It's something wrong with the distributable that I have tried to fix numerous times and different ways. I've had this problem with my vpn provider before and the developer fixed it for me. It is on the software side.

Are any of you on a laptop and have Nahimic Audio installed/running? If so try disabling this as it hooks into all Windows programs and likes to create this specific error on various other programs.

*POSSIBLE SOLUTION*

Guys, for everyone having the "Runtime error R6025", check the service pack of your windows.
I'm using Win 7 and after installing SP 1, MGS V is now running smoothly. The error now appears only when you close the game :)

I had the problem where this error occured prior to starting the game and it would cause the game to crash upon launch. Once I put in the driver disk that came with my graphics card and installed the drivers from there instead of the AMD website it worked fine.

Update Microsoft.NET Framwork 4 to the latest version. That's it.

Enjoy your game
