Mother Base training exercises. No guns?
I am on the R&D platform right now and I tried the training exercise. Since I am at mother base my gun useage is restricted but there are rediculous target placements that practically require a gun so how am I supposed to hit those? I have practically been reduced to meleeing the ones that I actually can hit.

Use the WU S.Pistol.

you have to use non lethal weapons like the starting pistol or a weapon you can research that does stun damage

How are you supposed to know where all the targets are?

The targets are usually within the area. If I remember right, they were all located (at least the first two target missions) within the building though I did have to go up to the top via the side to get some of them.

This is the first one i have done and it hasn't shown me jack. I am playing a game of hide n seek with 35 targets in a 4 minute timelimit. I gave up on it. That is some bs that I don't have the patience for.

R&D is the toughest hide and seek target practice ever. I successfully manage to kill 34/35 now, but that last one is just driving me insane. I can't bloody find it.

I have found that putting on the night vision goggles really helps to find these things. But now I am at 34 out of 35 on R&D as well.

I started up shooting challenge not realising that I couldn't use any of my all lethal loadout. what proceeded was me running around Karate choppping the s h i t out of those targets, got them all too, it was on the medical platform, wouldn't have finished if I was on one of the other platforms I don't think.

Best set up is tranq pistol, tranq sniper and rubber bullet AR or use a riot SMG instead of your pistol.
Their not ... exactly the same as your regular guns but they do the samethingish

Stand on the bottom of the platform and look up on the pipes around the place. If you don't see them aroudn there look up and down in the central core area. There are a lot around the sides. on pipes you are meant to walk on.

Yeah i tried meleeing them on R&D when I first started out but there is no way in hell you can melee them all. Especially not in the time given.
