I don't follow, you're basically suggesting nothing we've seen of big boss really happened? At least not when we played as him?
This game's ending was already a pretty big middle finger to the fans, doing that would be incredible. Despite Kojima leaving on a fart and not a proper sendoff, I don't think he would do something that terrible.
The point of the twist was to ♥♥♥♥ over fans who were told we were going to get a story about Big Boss becoming a villian. Instead Kojima wanted to pull a Metal Gear Solid 2 and take a massive turd on Big Boss's legend.
---
As for the ending - well Big Boss really descended into villainy. He went from "All for my men" to "I´ll use one of my men as decoy, so I can begin with formation of Outer Heaven, then I´ll put him in charge of it, while I´ll comandeer FOXHOUND - thus there will be conflict and place for soldiers as the Boss wanted"
Evidence for this could be the drastic change to big bosses personality in this game. what if its only now that we are seeing the true big boss.
If this was true I would rather play as medic as he is really the big boss we know.
(plus i just want to feel better about playing as medic for the whole game)
I get that, I would love to feel better, but instead the more I think about it the more angry I get.
