Crappy tutorial bug.

So I started building a Support Platform in the game (which is taking an hour) and then I guess I filled my staff to capacity. Well, apparently that brings up the tutorial for building a Command Platform. However I don't have the resources to build it, so now I'm stuck on this screen: http://i.imgur.com/LcGw1oq.jpg

It won't let me back out or do anything. I have to Alt-F4 to get out of the game.

Oh, I forgot. Since the game AUTOSAVES and only has one save file, I'm stuck. I can't press start because as soon as I do I go into the tutorial I can't complete, and even when I try to reload, it just puts me right back where I was, so my only option is to delete the ONE SAVE I'm allowed to have for this game and start all the way back at the beginning.

Oh great this just happened to me...

Edit: I was able to solve my problem by ALT + F4ing to close the game, upun loading of the game immediately opening the iDroid and removing people from my R&D team until I was at about 25 members. This allowed me to find more metal that I needed for the Command Platform.

Just happened to me as well. I'm completely locked out, as the new staff arrived before the autosave.

Please fix it, devs. I'm 9 hours in, I really don't want to have to start a new game for a preventable bug...

Yup, tried it after reading your post here, before my initial reply.
My new staff arrived before I got into the helicopter, so it's already at the base when I load. :/

I reported the big in the high priority thread, I'll wait for a patch, I guess :/

Still weird that nobody thought "Hey, you know, would be a good idea to check if the player has the ressources before launching the tutorial...".

I had the issue happen again, after I had requested the platform to be built. I had about 22 minutes remaining on the building process but during the tutorial popup thing the time doesn't progress.

So what I did was click on the two available buildings (R&D platform and the third one down (sorry I forgot the name at this time)). I didn't have to start building one of the new platforms but just select them a few times and the tutorial unlocked me.

I then waited at mother base for the platform to complete.

Go offline and move your units

Esc>Disconnect
Then go to your idroid and move any full teams

Hold down right click
It takes you out of the tutorial
I was just button mashing and right click worked lol

Yeah sure, let's bring back a bug from 2 years because you think it's still a problem, but was resolved with an update a long time ago. ESC on the keyboard gets out of that screen if you don't have the resources.

Next time check dates and don't necro old posts. This hasn't been an issue in a really long time. If you're having a problem, post your own message about your problem as it's probably something different than what's in some random 2 year old post you found through google.

It wasn't fixed. My game is up to date, and I have this same problem.
