where do you find D Dog?

I was playing an early mission and I heard the dog barking but never saw him , I just figured it was on some rocks somewhere and didn't bother looking for him. after finding out that he can be a buddy I would really like to find him again but don't remember where he was at. can anyone tell me the location of him on the map so I can go looking for him?

Yep, that's D-DOG, if you're lucky, you can find him in Africa.

Pretty sure you have to replay that mission to find him. I think he can show up in one of four missions though, so you may find him again if you just keep playing.

There is a side mission in the first main mission, where you can extract a commanding officer. I found DD near the base, where the commander is. I found him near the base on a hill, where you can spy on a part of the base. Basically a street is inbetween the big base and the hill where I found him. you should hear him bark there.

But maybe its randomnized, where you find him. I dont know.

With first main mission I mean the one, where you have to save Kaz.

I think it may indeed be random. I found him on my first Afghanistan mission. Right where I landed too.

I stumbled upon him when I started a mission. He came running up towards me.
