or if anyone knows wich are the audio files so i can swap.
perhaps becouse i like that version better and i trust the director of the game to better ask for performance without a middle man, we all know how BAD kojima english is.
its bad? what? lol
Same goes for game, like this one, that pretty much is a interactive movie, becouse thats how kojima has always envisoined this series.
Yes, it's able to set it, but you will wait about 30~40 minutes or more. (based on 100Mbps bandwidth)
To do that, right-click on the MGSV:TPP in your Steam library list, see the settings(the very bottom in the right-click menu), then there will be a language tab page. You can change it to Japanese, but it's completely different package so Steam will download the game from the start again.
It was same on GZ though, GZ also can be switched by this way.
You will see a lot of japanese characters when you start, but when the logos go, a two way selection will greet you. Choose English at there, and you're done: Japanese voice with English subtitles, English menu.
Once if you just pressed A or Enter too much to skip it(set to Jaapanese accidently), then Google translator on your phone will help you. Capture the screen with your phone camera via Google translator app, and highlight Japanese characters what you can't understand.
In GZ, the save file was completely different with each languages (English version or Japanese version. Copy-paste and renaming it didn't worked.), so I doubt you may need to do 100% on GZ to get all rewards again, if you switch the language.
Wow, thank you Escanes ,thanks a lot !
Cause first you should dl the japanese data pack, it includes audio and text, then when the dl finished (10 gigs) when you start the game, there is a warning in Japanese, then a loading screen and after this, black screen.
I've read it's because save datas are for English version, there is no solution yet for this issue.
PS : If you have already downloaded the japanses data, and want to recover the English version, you should dl again this data pack ^^
Just set Subtitles to "All" in the game settings, this gives radio etc. always to be shown as english text. That's how I played my 2nd PT of Ground Zero x_x
I see no reason for them to remove it for Phantom Pain.
I have the logo but then I only have white dots, then blackscreen...
(No issue whith English version, only japanese version have this issue)
Anyone else has this problem ?
Don't know why, and in others topics about audio ♥♥♥ all guys say the same thing, white dots and black screen :/
WTF I love having the voice of Jack Bauer on Snake it's freaking badass and I think they really work to make the metal gear franchise feel and look American (westernized) ...
