in the prologue u meet a small teen or 10 year old which has a gas mask and in a black suit this realates to psycho mantis cause of the gas mask ectcetra they can both hover she teleports he does probably but not shown ingame i havent played MGS5 but hes shown in MGS1 and MGS4 but in a robot form and plus his little girl has a mate who has a fire unicorn and she can rise her pet fire whale (♥♥♥♥ that was long) i forgot that phantom is set in the past so thanks to suksas and 10 points to tasha for the first message.

It's psycho mantis.... he killed his father with the help of Liquid (Liquid killed adults), If it was his mother then psycho mantis would have been with an older liquid snake, so the boy is psycho mantis, now If liquid hate the fake big boss you play or the real big boss I don't know.

l8 as ♥♥♥♥ but that teen you meet in the beginning is in fact physco mantis the ACTUAL physco mantis, his powers are explained in cassete tapes and since he's fueled by intense emotion he chooses to follow whoever has the greatest lust for revenge. He even adapts his appearance to represent his allegeance. in the beginning its the man on fire so his hands set a blaze, then its snake he chooses to ally himself with and thus has a horn growing out of his head, when he is wih skullface he looks angrier and his mask is morphed, when he is allied with Eli he has that red cloth on his shoulder. Since Eli has the largest lust for revenge he allied with him toward the end of the game.

The cancelled mission 51 explains what happens to him and eli:
Eli and him use the metal gear to fend of reaming XOF soldiers and snake is sent to dispose of the metal gear, snake whilst fighting gets a head injury and eli who is covered in red, is changed to look like he's wearing white to represent how snakes seizure changes his perception of color, snake shoots Eli but eli barely makes it. After snake realizes he's infected with the final strain of the english parasites he gives eli either the option to shoot him or shoot himself. Before Eli shoots himself Physco mantis saves him and literally pulls the Vocal Cord Parasite out of his throat and rescues him before the island is napalmed to destory the parasite.
