Accidentally set to Japanese, How do fix?

I'm in the Options Settings panel, how do I set it to English? Any help is appreciated :D

Did you solve your issue ? Cause I want to play with Japanese audio but when I start the game, it's only appear a black screen, can't reach the main menu.

I don't speak Japanese but I can read a few words since I studied a bit in high school.

load this thread with shift+tab in game and follow these instructions

when set to Japanese, the title screen should still be in English. go ahead and hit "options" there. you should see this screen, and now scroll down to the 4th option and hit enter

above you see I've highlighted the 4th option, this is where you need to be. after you press confirm on this one you'll see the next screen:

the very first option, the one I've highlighted here, is the change language. if you're still currently set to Japanese this is what you should see (the characters are pronounced "nihongo" which is the word for the Japanese language.) if this is not what you see scroll all the way left through your options until you see this.

from "nihongo" (looks like this: 日本語) press right I believe only one time, the second option should be english. it will look like this (英語):

Your problem is completely unrelated to this. If you're not even getting to the title screen, in other words your game is not properly launching, that's an entirely different area of troubleshooting. Since I have no information about your computer specs and software and redistributables, I couldn't possibly help you, sorry.

I only searched on this board with "japanese" as keyword, completly forgot to use google and "black screen"

bumping this to thank @an actual glock , I searched through these forums for quite a bit, only to have people tell me "just change the properties language" but that didn't work. Had to google-fu and find this thread. thanks!

On steam menu, right click on the game and press the last button (was it settings?) and change the language from there :p
