That's the problem, though. If I do that, he'll hear me. If I hold the walk button so that I'm quieter, he walks faster than me so I'll never catch him. :\
They cant hear you while crounching.
No other way when using a M+KB without some silly bypass..and it's one of the best armors tho it's bad during the day since it's black. so only for night time.
I've said it twice already "If I hold Ctrl to walk more quietly, he's too fast and I'll lose him."
This is a decent fix, I guess. Not my style, though.
It's not really about the alert so much as it is the style of play that I would like to do. I would prefer just to reach up and grab him while he has no idea. This is also won't work super well because there are two walking enemies, one in front of the other. So I would like to grab the rear and tranq the front.
I have the same problem and it is really annoying. It is almost gamebreaking for me.
I got ps4 but hate to aim with a controller and went for PC version and now the movement speed is ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up. Really emberassing
I actually started playing with a controller, but just today my right stick is being REALLY finicky and is being read as pushed upwards when at a resting and centered position. Makes aiming and camera control TERRIBLE.
Hopefully the guy above you is right and the old Ctrl crouch-walk speed is implemented in a patch sometime. :)
Does it actually feel good to use? I can't imagine this working well at all...care to explain?
