i think its to buy FOB's for motherbase for the online invasion part of the game

Extra FOBs. First one is free there is not much point to having more than one. Also probably speeds up the building of things in your FOB.

Don't ever waste your money on MB.

Yes and no. It should be online, but the servers seems dead right now.
