Adding custom music

Hello!

Really straightforward:
1. Copy music files to the following folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\MGS_TPP\CustomSoundtrack

2. Restart game (if you were already in it).

3. Rock out to your favourite tunes (It'll appear under Music>Musical Content in your iDroid)

Does it only support .mp3 or do .flac also work?

I would also like to know this. Assuming it's just MP3 though. Also hoping I can just put shortcuts to the files.

I've tested mp3's only so far. Will test other formats, but having too much fun playing the game, honestly. =)

Wanted to use my iTunes collection, but it either:
a) Doesn't support symbolic links
b) Doesn't support m4a
c) Doesn't support a folder hierarchy

Didn't work for me. Music shows up on the list but doesn't play. Any help is appreciated.

Same here, I've tried different file types and it just doesn't play.

Doesn't work at all , none of the mp3's iv'e put in that folder show up on the list.

I forgot i modded the sound the headless kamikaze make in serious sam. So it sounds like a titan who just saw you cheat on his wife coming after you.

The Mp4's from my Itunes library weren't working, they just wouldn't show up in game. Try downloading a program called "Freac" put whatever audio files you want in game, in the program and click "start the encoding process" then take the files and put them into your custom MGS V music file. Hope this helps, worked for me.

Thanks for this man. This works perfectly with mp3s (haven't tried any other format). Now, I can play the revengeance soundtrack as well. If this isn't a guide, it should be.
