How Big boss and ocelot became buddies

and supposedly he called off the pursuing jets aswell.

But i would really have a grudge against the man if he shot my right eye out.

the wiki page dosent really explain alot what happens next. how and why? or maybe it just go over my head.

Hope someone could fill in the blank spots. how the hell these two became brothers in arms and starting to trust eachother.

This is basically the answer to why big boss and ocelot CAN become friends in mgs5

Also as mentioned already, Ocelot shooting BB's eye was an accident, by saving Eva to get shot by Ocelot's russian roulette.

Ocelot shoots snakes eyes by accident, it was the boss who supposed to kill him with the gun. Besides BB should be happy he was still alive, because of this incident, volgin lose his interest to get him killed by the boss.

Volgin didn't want to get BB killed by The Boss. "You made him a soldier, now you will unmake him", by cutting his eyes out with a knife.

Tho I understand I'm really amazed to all these people new to the MSG saga. If you guys are interested you should go and check in yourtube msg story. I've seen some good compilations that are worth taking a look now that everyone is bored and waiting.
My main concern is people coming from CoD and CS hell. We don't need that gaming philosophy in msg FOBs and MSGO.

if you replay it and really pay attention, you'll notice that ocelot slowly and reluctantly takes snake's advice, every time snake critisizes him he takes it to heart and changes himself for the better. He begins to see Snake as a mentor in MGS3 and shows him respect in his own way.

Snake notices this as well and mentors him in a round-about way.

Ocelot shooting snake in the eye was an accident, he was testing sokolov's girl's luck (Eva undercover) by juggling the revolvers loaded with a single bullet, Snake noticed the gun that was loaded and knew the next shot was going to hit her if he didn't do somthing. By kicking Ocelot he stopped her from being shot but instead took the bullet himself.

Snake saw that Ocelot had exceptional skills but was young and inexperianced. You could often see snake grining at ocelot, not out of smugness but because he saw himself in Ocelot while he was training with The Boss.

In the last fight between them before the end of the game, Ocelot uses CQC to fight snake proving that he's been watching and learning from his encounters with him.

How they meet up again isn't explained yet, since he wasn't at motherbase in Peace Walker or Ground Zeroes, I can only assume they'll meet for the first time since MGS3 in TPP.
