METAL GEAR SOLID V: THE PHANTOM PAIN
Stefanie Joosten's(Quiet) twitch account was banned
http://www.twitch.tv/stefaniejoosten

During a live stream while Sefanie was playing Ground Zeroes, a bunch of kids started shouting out spoilers for MGS5 and next thing you know her account was banned. What's really a shame though is she seemed like a really cool girl, pretty down to earth, you know like an actual gamer. Too bad the community ruined it for everyone.

Hahaha, are you too sensitive to compliment ? I guess so :golden:

It's not really about the compliment, though the whole bit about wanting to touch her is pretty damn weird. It's just getting to me how every single woman that's connected to this game is immediately treated like they're just around to be pretty. It's seriously getting creepy, and I've never seen that kind of reaction from any other fandom that I've been a part of before.

Didnt most girls on twitch have a tiny 20x20p gameplay screen and the rest of it was cam at a downward angle with a low-cut shirt?

most streamers are crap anyway.

Quite the opposite with her actually. She had a small window in the top right for her camera and the rest was the game. On the right was the chat window, it was just her, the game, no bewbs.
f*ck the community! you ruin everything

You have to think though most guys that meet a girl online are either kids or people who dont have any common courtesy which is almost every male that plays games lol.

Not really. I mean, half of all online gamers are women. They're just much less likely to use voice chat or talk about themselves at all, due to these kinds of reactions. And even if it was true, it's pretty bad that little kids would think it's okay to treat women as vehicles for their own sexual or possessive urges, rather than people in their own right who shouldn't be forced to deal with those kinds of comments whenever they're playing. It's a pretty major sign that online culture has a real issue with accepting women as just more gamers.

Just turn around and let them wonder why they're single.
This is why you should stream on Hitbox.tv Not many kids there cause not many ppl know about it ...
The biggest problem is that even though Twitch will unban her when she explains, Twitch Support is the worst ever. I spent 7 months, im not joking, 7 freaking months to get my account back after they required everyone to reset theyre password. i never got an email from them. They didnt bother replying on email, forum, twitter and even on facebook. So yeah, we will probably not see her anytime soon.

O M G. Some of the users on here are trolls that frequent Twitch. Not everyone, but damn what a shame, Twitch really has become a troll chatroom site. Everytime I enter a stream all I see are trolls who say that reported the stream for whatever little thing offends them, quite sure it is the same crowd who follows Anita "♥♥♥♥♥" Sarkeesian.
They gotta be jealous and attack a cute girl who is a real gamer "Stefanie Joosten".
All those twitch trolls can go to hell in a hand basket.

Well thats interesting, I never bother to ask for gender and such in MMORPG's and what not so guess I never thought about it and yeah rarely do hear women using comms but dont blame them either.

It's pretty sad though because the few female friends I've actually gamed with normally ended up quitting due to such childish behaviour unfortunately. I still remain in contact with one and her father though on a game I used to play with them for about 7 years but she definitely can hold her own haha.
Chat was injected with FOXDIE and Joosten's nanomachines killed the stream when sh was within close enough proximity

Whatever in the "f" are you talking about. Half the girls on twitch have downblouse shots of their b00bs and if they game its a small 5 pixel window shoved off to the corner of the screen to make room for their pathetic push-up bra cleavage cam.
So here you are presuming that "all" women are some sort of innocent helpless creatures that receive hatred and sexual deviance. Haha. right.
