True...but I don't think that theory holds much weight considering the physical differences between the two. Unless BB was tripping and isn't really missing an arm and doesn't have a horn...but then...Why is he seemingly perfectly sane in MGS4?
It could be...but it is still a stretch given the fact that he is perfectly fine mentally in MGS4. It would be an odd fit in my opinion.
BB got mad at his gov for forcing him to kill his mentor, The Boss., but what realy trigger the evil part of him was in Peacwalker, where he fight the AI of the boss, and at the final moment, the AI decide to surrender and suicide in the lake. The boss gave up the fight for the sake of peace. BB, as a soldier, felt betrayed. It was like "Jack, in a world made of peace, in my vision, we soldier are no longuer needed."
Since then he created the basics of war economy.... developped nuclear detterent, and turned evil. I still got the feeling that in MGS4, he realized how far was Zero from The boss vision and he also realized that in a way he was wrong too. the close up is on Solid and BB forgiving them selfs, and share some time before they die in their own.
Am I wrong ?
No, that is about right.
Did you finish MGS4? Because I wasn't talking about Solid at all.
Zero helped save his life because he needs him in a way and he did it for old times sake. But Big Boss may have just sympathy killed Zero in MGS4...dude was a vegetable. And their war had to come to an end. Big Boss and zero were the only one's left....so Big Boss decided to end it there.
Even Big Boss said : "I wonder if he feared me or hated me?" Or something like that. It wasn't the action of a vengeful man. Just someone looking to end a war that started 30 or 40 years ago. Big Boss finally understood what he needed to do.
