does multiplayer have co-op?
if not who gives a crud anyway?
TPS are lame in multiplayer
:p
how'd you mod that out? XD
is there a way to mod heroism?
The guy that has what he needs already, and attacks people purely for the sake of harming someone els' game (Because FOB effects single player).
If you DO cheat. Please don't go online with them. I can't tell you how many times i've had to defend against infinite health attackers and just praying that i'll do enough damage fast enough to get them stuck in a permanemt death state. That's why I play offline until the 'real' online arrives.
The problem of cheating on this game, is that is that they tied multiplay with the singleplay. What I consider to be a big mistake from developers. I think that the only nocive type of cheating is that one that will would really affects a FOB, like make yourself immortal, or lock the timer. Things like give you resources, better rank personnel, is something possible by just playing the game.
Seriously, as long as you don't go around hacking in FOB missions, you're not hurting anyone, and it's nobody else's business. I use CE to mess with gun customization, but I never take those into FOB raids. I actually go out of my way to just bring the "stock" guns if I'm going after an FOB, because I don't want anyone to be at a disadvantage against me for not using the gun customization stuff. As for GMP and all that, cheat away. Again, you'd be able to do the same by farming a bunch of missions, so it's not hurting anyone if you get more GMP without doing the farming.
This isn't an MMO; it's primarily a single-player game, and as long as you're not using cheats specifically to get an advantage in the online component, what you do is your own business. The people that need to be banned straight-away are people like "Matthew: Venom Snake" and "SingleShade", because they're trying to bully people into not enjoying a game they paid for, even when it doesn't hurt them in any way.
This, so much. Getting resources and crap is not going to ruin FOB for anyone. It's going to give people that don't feel like grinding like this is a late 90's MMORPG more enjoyment in the game.
Might aswell buy the game on sale or pirate it.
You don't see, because you don't want to. First, you are exaggerating, not everyone cheats to get everything. For example, someone might just lock a timer on a particular mission that he finds too stressful, and will spoil the game for him. Many cheats after they finish the game.
And what the price of a game have anything to do with how someone want to enjoy it?
I think that some people treats games like some kind of experiment to measure human value. Seriously, is like some kind of tribal warrior test, or something. "Great warrior, you defeated the game on the extreme hardcore mode without cheating or exploiting, now find a wife and procriate, we need more like you!" =P
Difference is the people in this thread saying they want to cheat aren't even 20 hours into the game, they are just fishing for instant gratification.
I guess the game is too hard for some people, that's nothing to be ashamed of i'm not judging you.
Yeaaaah. That definitely come across as you judging them. If you weren't judging them, you wouldn't have said anything in the first place.
He came to the discussion board to ask a question. The question has been answered to the best of the ability of those with a mind to answer, instead of insulting OP. Also, using Cheat Engine responsibly is not some slippery slope, where one screw-up can drive a person to start "cheating all the time in FOBs". You people need to get it through your head that there is NOTHING wrong with using Cheat Engine, or any other tool, to get ahead in the single-player portion of the game. It is only when cheats are used specifically for FOB stuff that it becomes a problem.
What someone does in the single-player portion of the game is nobody else's business, and neither you, me, or anyone else has any right to judge someone for how they play the single-player game.
You act as though it's somehow a big deal. It's not a big deal to anyone except the two or three people in the thread that feel the need to puff out their chests and act superior because they're playing the game in a certain manner. There's no controversy, because it's not a big deal. Some folks are trying to make it a big deal, and failing miserably, because it's pretty obvious that they're closed-minded little arseweasels.
