Help: Dual monitor, second monitor goes black in fullscreen
I have dual monitors, but when I go in full-screen it makes my second monitor go black, is there anyway to fix this? I've tried doing the "Disable Desktop Composition" thing but it doesn't work, and nvidia control panel is set to multiple display performance.

I get this sometimes (3/10 times) but it doesn't bother me. I don't use the second screen for anything. If I need to google something quickly, I Shift+tab and use the web browser overlay.

You could try setting the game to run Full Screen borderless? or do you have 120/144 hz monitor?

I have a 59hz monitor, i've tried running fullscreen windowed but there is stuttering, only in that mode though.

Try setting your game to "Borderless Full-screen" mode under Settings>>Graphics. It fixed the problem for me.

It did this to me as well when i was running fullscreen (I prefer fullscreen for better performance) The only fix i found was installing Win8.1 or Win10 unfortunately.

as I mentioned before, I did try running in fullscreen windowed (borderless) and there is stuttering even though it is running at 60fps, while there is none in windowed, but I usually have things on my second monitor that I look at while playing games but I don't like the decreased performance.

Any other solution?

I know this is old but maybe someone will stumble upon it and it helps them. I made this video in the hopes it will help someone else out there who's looking for a solution like i was. It worked for H1Z1 and it might work on other games also: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dD1utkrlJ3E
