Battle gear mission broken help pls

When the battle gear is ready it teleports me inside my base, where they tell me to use my i-droid to sent it on a combat assignment.

Only problem is.. I-droid doesn't work at that time??

So i'm stuck. What the ..??

Because combat deployments which require Battle Gear come in later.

Battle Gear was designed to use it in story missions first but they scratched that because it was too powerful. So now you can only use it in external combat missions.

Hideo Kojima: "The Battle Gear created by Emmerich is used in combat deployment missions, and to be honest, my plan was to make it available on the actual field. I noticed that its presence disrupted the gameplay balance during test sessions so i eventually had to remove it from the game."

So the cutscenes are just there because they already finished them by that time.
