Is there a way to avoid quiet?

Is there a way to either avoid her or skip her mission?

not to my knowledge but you can make her fight SUPER easy, just find a rock you can stand up and then crouch behind to dodge her shots, bait her into shooting a bunch then mark her, then drop a supply crate on her head. It does half her stamina on normal, so two and your done. You can killer her at the end of that mission if you so chose too, but it will leave a gaping hole in a portion of the story later if you do.

just give her a try btw, she is VERY useful at silently taking out an outpost, provided you keep their helmets off. Unless you want full on kills, then her 50cal barrette is amazing for everything shy of armored vehicals.

She is also amazing in missions where you can't kill anything, give her a non lethal rifle, and have her snipe away. Then you stroll in and kidnap everybody while they sleep :D

The first time I ran into her, I just went to the exit on the other side of the ruins and it let me. I skipped the Quiet fight and went straight to saving Huey. I did the fight straight after Mission 12 though so I dunno if it forces you to do it at some point but I assume it would.
