Update:

How do we know Big Boss is the Dad? Who mentions that in game ever?

How is that considered Cannon?

Ocelot doesn't because Ocelot forgot everything through the power of doublethink.

Snake have not a single ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ clue as to what is going on.

Yes, Eli knows. Although in the tapes you are told that *you* are not his biological father by Ocelot (because you are not Big Boss himself, hence why the DNA doesn't match).

i thought everyone got it ... i guess they re dumb people that didnt understand even after finishing the game ... so sad :/

I've no idea.

I suppose since the philosophers took him away from his mother, he never knew who she was.

The part that I don't understand is if everyone doesn't think snake is his father. Then why don't they just tell him
They may have saved a lot of the problems right there.

Hmmm.... They did?

They did a DNA test with Snake which turned out to be negative because Venom Snake is not Big Boss

I don't think Big Boss or would ever break it to him.

It's explained in MGS3 that Ocelot is such a young commander because he's the son of a privilaged soldier with a scar across her chest, I think he knew, else he wouldn't have gotten that rank (Or someone had to know and tell him, doesn't seem like something you leave out when making someone Commander of a Spetsnaz unit). My guess is they just never really talk about it, plus, he's bffs with the man who killed her mother and took her title, I think it's safe to say he didn't mind it that much (Specially given that he took revenge on the DCI, who's the one who technically did it all).
