Skull Face: influenced by Ghost in the Shell?
The second season of "Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex" has a main baddy character that I immediately had to think of the first time I saw Skull Face in Ground Zeroes. Just a coincidence? It could be they even have the same voice actors, I'm too lazy to look up the names now. They sure seem to have similar attitudes, both are intelligent and ruthless in their ways, and fond of their own voices as far as I noticed.

I have to admit I never watched Stand Alone Complex series, only did two masterpiece GitS movies. I promise I'll do the series watch when possible.

But it wouldn't surprise me if Skullface design is a hommage to some famous anime character.

No, I mean Kazundo Gouda, the guy with the misfigured visage. Skull Face looks much uglier, but Gouda isn't far from it.

same can be said about the main characters in ghost in the shell, but i see what you're trying to get at. Their motives are a little similar. Idk if kojima got his idea from ghost in the shell or if it's just a coincidence. Good luck finding that out lol

both worked for an intelligence agency i believe and both have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up faces.
