Any way to emulate MGS4?

Alright, I recently posted in a previous thread about getting ready for MGS, but I've realized that the emulators for MGS apparently only work up till Snake Eater. Is there ANY way that I could play MGS4 on my pc, I have a ps3 so is there some way to use the files on a ps3 disc? I may be coming off as an absolute pleb, but if there really is no other option I might just buy the HD collection.

Specifically I can't be bothered getting headphones for it, and the controller has gotten pretty crusty over the years. It's honestly become such a hassle, and I just find PC gaming much more convenient. Not trying to start a console vs pc flame war though.

In all Honesty you have a ps3 so you should probably play the game that way and use emulation as a last resort, but maybe that's just me.

There are no working PS3 emulators. Best invest in a new controller.

ther's no way to emulate any ps3 game and probably this will never change since the ps3 architecture is very unique with cell processor buy some used controller

Maybe they'll release a 1080p PS4 version someday. But that's about as likely as a fully working PS3 emulator being created.

Like the others said no PS3 emulator. It's hell just emulating PS2's MGS3.

The PS3 emulator, last I checked, was actually making some progress but don't much for at least another 2-3 years. Even then, odds favor you would need quite the computer to run it wiht a number of speed hacks making some games unplayable for a good 5+ years unless technology radically leaps forward, which is quite possible but another discussion.

Kind of funny considering the state of all Xbox platforms with regards to emulators and their architecture/OS.

There is one working PS3 emulator that runs about 20+ commercial games in a "playable state". Still a very early work in progress, though.

not yet , they're working on it .. could work in a year , or 5 .. who knows

It'll be a while before a ps3 emulator comes out.

You should not play mgs4!! It ruinned the whole franchise, plus there's nothing in it useful for this game.

Most gen 7 emulators haven't broke ground yet (one 360 emulator has been able to run Raging Blast 2 but the models have no textures) and the PS3 has very unique hardware and MGS4 is a very uniquely built game so getting a working PS3 emulator and getting it to run MGS4 is gonna be really effin hard and not possible for several years.
