If you want to resuce the Honey Bee prisoner without an alert, your best bet is to infiltrate at night, rush through the valley where he starts out and get on the road ahead of him. Then have your horse take a dump in the road, and extract the vehicle and all its occupants.
I kept trying to extract him without triggering an alert on site, and I enventually gave up. I should've waited for a sandstorm perhaps... I don't recall the bonus being that big a deal though.
The bonuses start being tracked as soon as the mission starts. If you're on the ground in an area, then select a mission, you haven't started the mission until you go to the start point and get the starting intel and whatnot.
Thanks Vardis,
So, If I manage to get him outside and Fultoned out without an Alert, the mission doesn't end...
So, does that mean there is more that needs to be done in order to complete the mission without an alert? (As in actual working objectives) or do I just need to exit the Mission area? I ask, because I actually had to pick the kids up and paused there...lol
Figured I'd ask before continuing.
So Far, I have him fultoned outside, with no alerts.
But in the interest of speed and stealth, I didn't loot anything or kidnap any decent soldiers to Motherbase.

You can come back later once you have better gear and a better understanding of the game to get that S-Rank.
I'm sitting here stressing each mission trying to max rank it and I can just redo the friggin mission later when Snae is better equipped and I'm more skilled....lol
Thanks for the 411.

Lol so how many missions u did before u realised this? :p
Venoms gear is tied up to base devlopment and base devlopment is tied to resources and man power.
You are gonna need fulton whole bunch ppl and resources during missions until youre "maxed"
And wait a loooong time base builds up at later phases.
You'll have to replay several missions if you want to do all the optional objectives, as you won't be able to do many of them until you get stuff you research after the mission.
You can maybe get an S rank on everything the first time, but definitely don't stress over it. Fairly soon you'll get to the point where you can replay them.
I ended up playing through the missions normally, trying to be stealthy, fast, and effective. Some of them I replayed later and really went for speed and ranking, and then once I had an S rank I'd go back for some objectives that I wanted to be able to take my time on. Maybe 2 or 3 missions I relied on things like air support to get the objective, which reduced my max rank to an A. Heck, for the last objective I needed in mission 45, I gave in and used the Lil' chicken hat (given to you if you fail with the chicken hat), because I was getting impatient and wanted to finish. That aid gives you a score of zero, but I got my damn objective. ;)
Hamster, I'm doing the honey bee one now...lol
