Stationary weapons except mortars are useless in terms of fob defense. You can still keep a few but I wouldn't bother with it. they do nigh to no dmg and get your guards easy killed. Mortars on the other hand are with the drones the most dangerous thing in fobs.
Whats to stop someone who set off an alert from causing hell with a AA gun. They cant do it woth a mortar because it takes too long and they're left wide open. Meanwhile patrols can use mortars from multiple platforms away to rain hell onto the invader.
