SOUND CUTTING OUT

So, after a bit of playing, sound just cuts out completely for some reason.

Also did you check your speakers?

Running right now... And I use a headset, not speakers.

Unplug the headphones and plug them back in. Check your sound setting both in game and in your OS settings. Make sure your connections are fine.

It's not really a problem with the headphones. If sound were to cut out and I switched it to a youtube video, I would hear audio from the video.

Happened to me twice now, when switching from KB & Mouse to Controller while on a headset; very rare though.

I had this happen twice during a certain boss fight, and I ended up having to restart the game after the boss was defeated so I only missed half a cutscene of critical sound. Really annoying. It seems to crash the sound driver so restarting the game was necessary; It isn't a problem with your computer or audio equipment, and I didn't have to reboot in both cases.

I think moving the mouse switches the controls. So maybe the wire connecting the controller was moving the mouse around switching it to KB&M controls messing it up.
