Not sure if this is necessary, but the reason you have multiple pilots with the same callsign is because it's not a reference to the pilot himself. It's a reference to BB's command chopper.

A real life example: Any Plane that the President of the U.S. rides in is called Air Force One. It doesn't matter if it's the actual plane designed for the President. It could be a single prop crop duster, if the President is on it, the call sign would be Air Force One.

Lol, this one time, I called in Pequod to pickme up at the LZ near Lamar Khate Palace. Just as he arrived, I saw 2 soldiers walking in the distance. I zoomed in on them and found out that one of them had an S-stat in R&D. I go over to tranq them, but they detect me because reflex mode is turned off.

I'm trying to subdue them using non-lethal means and just then I hear "Pequod is in hot, find cover". I shout "NOOOOOOO" and run towards the S-rank soldier hoping to get to him before Pequod does, but it's too late. Pequod was already in hot and was returning to LZ leaving me with a 'are you f***ing kidding me' face.

I'm so attached to Pequod. I was so upset and confused when he died and there was another one. I just told myself the other pilot wasn't Pequod.

I just realised,

every time his chopper crashed, we should get an objective to rescue him from the crash site.

Same even if i know there wont be anything everytime prequod crashes i A run over to check if Prequod is alive or B restart the mission all together i just got to mission 16 and i dont wanna do it cuz Preqod would die

if you dont call him in for escaping the mission area and just drive out he will still live :D thats what i did
