Report a translation problem
I did the first bunch (33, 34, 36, 37, 39 and 40) but this is rediculous.
He's probably before the point where repeating the missions are mandatory and just sees the option to repeat missions.
It sucks, and apparently konami removed a bunch of content out, against kojimas wishes. I'm not sure if this is a troll move by kojima, like the adverts in mgs4, or just a way to expand the game for removed content.
Either way I stopped playing because I didn't feel like beating quiet again or going into a mission naked
people are saying you have to complete them before moving on. a few video reviews, like angry joe, also mentioned it.
Spoilers:
"Mission 46: Truth - The man who sold the world" is the "true ending" of the game, that's as far as the story goes.
As far as I know the only "yellow" missions you might've missed at that point would be the side op 150 that leads into mission 45: A Quiet Exit
