Deploying Battle Gear?

I was told to field test Battle Gear by deploying it... absolutely no idea how to go about this. I feel like I've searched the menus up and down multiple times. Any ideas?

You can only use it for certain dispatch missions. You'll never actually use it yourself.

it anything is cut, it would be konami, not kojima.

No, Kojima said that it wouldn't fit the feel of the game, and that it would be op. It's in the book that people got if they got the super special edition.

I wasn't trying to use it myself. It said to deploy it during one of those Combat Deployments... just havent seen it as an option yet. Also wants me to use a tank but none of the tanks I extract end up in my inventory. Maybe you cant keep extracted tanks from the Backup, Back Down mission?

Spoiler it is used once or twice in combat deployments and then you never use it again
