I'm putting cages at the areas everyone says they are, but I get bats/gerbils every time.

Is there something I'm doing wrong?

Then I don't know, worked perfectly for me. You made sure your capture cage is fully upgraded? Else it can't catch rare/super rare animals.

Same, keep putting 8 cages where it suggests in the guide and in the Powerpyx video on Youtube but everytime just get a mixture of bats and gerbils. Been trying for close to 2 hours and not getting any further...any advice?

I've now managed to get every other animal either first try or within a couple of tries in each of the areas suggested but still cannot find this fox. Is there anywhere else it could be picked up from? I'm using the picture in the guide as the area to spread my cages around but it's always bats and gerbils. Thanks for any help anyone can give.

Try different locations, it's in one tiny circle use the Conservation guide on steam to find it.

You have to place the cages on the large rocks near the cliff. If you place the cages on the dirt, you get bats a d gerbils.

Thanks! That actually helps! Usually when you place your traps on rocks you are geting some bats or crows. But it helped me! I placed traps on rocks or near them throue the area and i got 6 foxes.

When you go after that pain in the @@@, try here:

The known point south of Bwala ya Masa does yield it, but it took a ridiculous amount of GMP to continuously drop in and extract to find it. I also verified the point I used 3 times. Each time yielded 7 gerbils and 1 Leopard Tortoise.
From the drop-off south of Bwala ya Masa, head north along the waterway to the area of the small waterfall. From the waterfall face almost due west and head to the rock wall. There is a large rock here that is approximately 90m from the drop-off. Place your traps and good luck.

Wow, been trying to get this damn blanford's fox for nearly 3 hours then all of a sudden i get 8 all at once. It seems that the best place is to put the cages is on the rocks right at the base of the cliffs. That's what worked for me. Hope this helps anyone else who is having a problem finding the damn thing.

Well a guide I read says that it's not a 100% chance so what I did was put all my cages down in the area called for a refill and put more down. I did that till it wouldn't let me put any more down then called for the heli to come pick me up. i got it on my first try doing that.
