If you mean FOB, just progress 'till you are able to get one
Well thanks i have no idea what a FOB is....I just wanted to play online and sneaky sneak tactics people to death. FML thanks will never play single player games ever.
Those guys just said it was. Advance thru the game till you get to mission 22 and then you unlock a FOB jobby "no idea what that is but must be some online thing" then you can play. I think you suffer from the downs or something. There is no Multiplayer menu at the start up screen. Hence not multiplayer, hence single player.
...What?
You bought a METAL GEAR game just to play multiplayer? I know people liked MGO1 and 2, but those were both alongside singleplayer games - MGS3 and 4 had a lot of focus on singleplayer, though their multiplayer wasn't something to be ignored.
FOBs are unlocked after Op 22, and featured in trailer footage. It's basically a one-on-one match where you infiltrate a person's mini motherbase in order to steal staff, equipment and resources. If you are caught infiltrating an FOB by the AI, the owner is notified if online and may try to defend their base - it will still primarily be against the AI, so if you manage to get through undetected you can avoid confronting the other person.
MGO3 is only coming next January for PC, and is pretty much Metal Gear Online adapted for Phantom Pain's gameplay. You can customise your own character with different gear and voices, create your own loadouts, develop different skills to enable or enhance abilities such as CQC disarming or carrying more weapons at once. There's a Freeroam feature which hasn't really been talked about, as well as multiple modes such as capturing the data disk like in the trailer and team sneaking (one team uses lethal weapons whilst another uses stealth camouflage and non-lethal weapons to sneak towards an objective).
More on MGO3 will be displayed at the Tokyo Game Show, I think. But the fact of the matter is, the MGS series is 'generally' meant to be singleplayer only.
ok thanks ill wait then for online :)
These COD kids today just want Multiplayer... its pretty sad
"Can I play online?"
"Yeah, here's how."
"WUDDAYOO MEEN NO ONLINES?"
"Uh, dude, I said you CAN play online, and even told you how."
"I WAISTED MUH FITTY DOLLA!"
Uhm yes....Single player games are for ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
This game does not have Multiplayer, before i bought it i read and they said it would have multiplayer....i still log in every now and then to see if they added the multiplayer feature. And thus far i have seen nothing...♥♥♥♥ game ♥♥♥♥ company nobody plays single player games anymore. period.
Yes becuase its god for saking single player crap, i never paid to play against AI rubbish.
Oh, and the multiplayer comes in January for PC.
