With that said, The Phantom Pain is just ridiculously huge, there's hundreds of weapons and items you can work on, and there's already quite a number of facilities in TPP that are around the same size that Camp Omega was in GZ.
IMO, it's a pretty good game. far better than Ground Zeroes as a whole.
?
Oh and also, shouldnt a demo of a game grab you and make you want to pick the game up? just my 2 cents on that.
Well, Ground Zeroes does punish you for being hasty, the game is really rewarding of patient players that take their time by not causing an uproar and killing sprees. With that said, The Phantom Pain is far more forgiving in this and does allow wild playstiles more. HOWEVER, it all comes down to your patience I guess, overall it's an unforgiving game, with unforgiving checkpoints and unforgiving enemies. The game won't forget your mistakes, not even your victories (The enemies adapt to your tactics).
I would say you're better off waiting and seeing more about it on youtube, try to find different players and see how they play, if you find the methodical, slow paced gameplay boring, then by all means, simply skip this. The game itself is much more refined than Ground Zeroes but the core ideas are the same, so if you didn't like the core ideas, you simply won't like The Phantom Pain, IMO.
