if the outrage is big enough. they will have no choice. look what happend to mass effect 3. case study right there.

Oh yes, Look at the outrage that helped with.. We got 5 still screenshots and some voice over that didn't answer or add anything.

No, This 'outrage' will no do anything, BioWare cares about their gamers, EA does not. Kojima Cares about their gamers, KONAMI doesn't even know what they're selling.

Want to see a case study on how outraged fans get treated? Look at Aliens: Colonial Marines. They got off their lawsuit because it's still the purchase of customer. They got in ♥♥♥♥ for misleading information towards a product, But their product is still what they sold. Every other outrage is generally meet with a fix in DLC or a sequel.. Neither of which have a high chance of happening with MGS5

caring or not. yes ME3 got still slide show. but the mission 51 is atleast half way there. and camp omega is already there. nothing to be changed there except add soldiers and a objective or 2. voice overs are already done. it wouldnt take forever to make.

with all the stuff that has been happening. i very much doubt they are working on more content for mgs5. even if it is selling very well right now. kojima is leaving in december. if we dont show them we want the cut content now. it will be to late to bother later.

DLC is very often handeled by a different director. In fact that is more common then it being handled by the same director.
often yes. but not always. but im not talking about DLC. im talking about content that was cut from the game. youtube mission 51. and ull see enough. and camp omega is already there. (ground zeroes?)

I feel like people are really not understanding how much work it would be for them to add in this extra content. Omega is done and good to go, yes, but if they did add that extra jungle map that Eli escapes to, that is going to take a while.

it looked like a lot of that cutscene was just made up of re-used block in assets for Africa. It looked rough and not polished at all. Environment art assets aside though, they'd still have to do:

- All the voice acting for different languages.
- Level design.
- Q & A and focus testing (I noticed in the credits that they credited 3 separate focus testing groups, so its obviously a big thing to them).
- Additional design and writing for extra side-ops and additional missions because one extra mission wouldn't warrant a whole new map.

I don't see this happening at all, especially as its Konami. I mean, we're talking about a studio too stupid to try and hang on to Kojima, the guy resposible for their last real standout series; and a studio that sends its developers to run bloody pachinko parlours. What does that tell you?

Mission 51 wasn't even close to half way. The cinimatic itself is labled as "30% complete".. The game or level probably couldn't have been more than a graphic with stage actors floating around on it.. maybe not even that with interviews saying the game was "complete" as of early 2015.

For Ground Zeroes' Camp Omega, I have no doubt a modder at least will try to put it in (insertion by helicopter might turn out hard to do.. but they might be able to skip it and just 'plop' you into the game) It would neet.. But to just RIP one map and put it in the new game? I wouldn't support that and I strongly doubt the community would take it postivily. Ground Zeroes is like, 10 dollars, $2 on sale sometimes. The DLC would be 10 or even more.

Again. This should be a call out from Modders to do this. Between legal issues and how ♥♥♥♥♥♥ KONAMI is.. The lack of a team anymore and so on and so forth.. Even the passionate developers can't do anything.

the whole ground zeroes save file thing to revisit camp omega was hyped to hell and back. long before the release date was even announced for the phantom pain. so im not sure i totally agree with u on this. yes modders can put it in but i rather have the real deal.

voice acting is alreayd done. the soldiers reuse the same lines all the time. so nothing new to add there. voice acting for the characters is also already done. the mission 51 has all the voice content already there.

the testing yes that would cost them ofcourse but the remaking of a map for just that mission. i disagree. they dont NEED to at this point anymore. they could just reuse a part of africa and done. personally just want the damned cut content back to us. so many promises made and content shown in trailers and such but about 80% of all that was promised is there. the ending (final boss battle) should have been in there. its just a huge disappointing slap in face to just end it the way it did.

I petition ♥♥♥♥♥. They do not give a crap about that. Money talks. When the money comes in maybe they will consider adding it in

Yeah, re-using part of Africa would make a lot of sense.

Not sure if all the VA was done. We only saw the english version, right?

There was a whole lot of missing lip syncing too. I'm not involved in animation at all, so I don't really know how long that'd take em.

and yeah, it does feel like a slap in the face. Once the awesome wore off around mission 26 or so the game went from a 10 in my book to an 8 or 9.

They don't actually care, but they'll be wanting the Western cake soon enough. They're cutting their divisions down and making teh Pachinko machines..which will lose their novelty eventually. I don't know anything I want to know about Japanese culture but the reason people gamble is excitement, possibility. Machines are programmed to take all your money W_W. Again, I don't know how Japan works but "soft" gamblers giving the familiar gaming machines a try will either evolve into less luck based gambling or enjoy the one time experience and dip out.
Thennn they will come crawling back to us, wishing they'd never fired Kojimer.

Once you're forced to kill your own soldiers, I was like "oh yeah, here we go!" But... Like the body I've lost, the commrades, they won't stop hurting....
If it is to blame someone, blame Konami for how incomplete MGSV became.
To have a person like Kojima and end up losing him, it shows how broken Konami's leadership became.
They had the oportunity, the IPs, the people, and still failed.
