Extract the Legendary Gunsmith Again not showing up

I did the first Extract the Legendary Gunsmith mission a long time ago just after it appeared, and when I went to do some side ops I noticed the second one was missing. Does it disappear after a certain amount of time or if the first gunsmith dies? What can I do to bring it back?

Keep doing side ops. Sometimes they dont show up if another one is in the same location or if you have maxed out the amount of side ops the game lets you have at one time. If you do a few the game will throw a new set of side ops at you that might include it.

The central base camp? I have a side-op there currently, it's the one where you have to get a blueprint for a security device. Haven't done any of those because FOBs suck and I've been playing offline. Thanks for the help.

Just in case there ends up being another side op blocking the third, where's that one at?

i have played for over 60 hours and have been doing side op after side op and nothing!!!!

my entire playthrough has been missing a key feature of the game, i feel like just not playing it anymore.

if you do get it to work can you let me know what missions you do cos all that happens to me is previous side ops i have already done become replayable

Just finished the side-op that was at the base, it made the second gunsmith op visible.
